~ "What is Foul?

We are an artist working together as a group called "Foul" base in Bangkok, Thailand.
There are various types of artist backgrounds in our group such as lecturer, Illustrator, Motion Graphic artists, and researchers. Foul

The group was built up from the idea of exploring and searching a field for us to be more playful and meaningful. We were bored from the identity of the industrial ways of making animation which are full of packs and walls and rules and orders. We have found that the soul is free and is able to perform independently. And that was when this group has been formed since 2014, it’s intended to be a reflection of our desire to expand the way of our expression through movement, visual, and sound from our daily life." ~ art group FOUL.

As Thai citizens, There are roles, There are duties, And we are all completely tied and attached to them. We believe that these signals and these particular sounds have directly affected our routine.

A memo of waiting about who seems to be together but not together. The words were extracted from the letter. Which is a description and a reflection of reminisce about existence with waiting for something because we believe that waiting is so romantic.

It is the sound of an alarm that we have been through each single day.

~ inside the "Blind Dates" project FOUL art group was collaborating as thai pen pal artists with french artist Elsa Quintin.
~ "Blind Dates Rennes-Bangkok" project was led and curated by Hong HUB residency in Thailand in collaboration with INIT Collectif at Rennes & Speedy Grandma at Bangkok.
